At Ridenour Photography, we are proud to continue a family legacy that began all the way back in 1980. Founded by Chuck Ridenour, the business started with his passion for capturing the excitement of local athletics for the Shelby Daily Globe. Over the years, Chuck’s dedication to preserving these moments became a cornerstone of our community. After Chuck unexpectedly passed away in 2022, his daughter, Brooke Alt, stepped in to carry on his beloved work. With a commitment to photographing athletes of all ages, Brooke now leads the business with the same passion, providing stunning action shots for families as a heartfelt thank you for their continued support.

I’m Brooke Alt, current owner and photographer for Ridenour Photography. A devoted wife and mother of three- I'm always keeping busy. I am a proud Shelby, Ohio native- born and raised. I graduated from Shelby in 2013 and Ashland University in 2017, where I earned both my bachelors and masters in education degrees. Before picking up a camera, I spent five rewarding years as a teacher, but my true passion for sports and photography has always been a constant in my life. Growing up, I was right by my father’s side, attending athletic events and even learning to keep stats for him. These early experiences fostered my love for sports, and I feel incredibly honored to now have the opportunity to capture those unforgettable moments for families. It’s a privilege to blend my passion with my work, preserving memories for athletes of all ages to cherish.
